Thompson Lee Zollars
Born October 17, 1989 to Army parents Robert and Wendy Zollars at Walter Reed Military Hospital the military was always something that interested Thompson. After graduating in the top 5% of his High School class Thompson went on to study at the University of Pittsburgh for Microbiology under a full Army ROTC scholarship. Shortly after joining ROTC, Thompson became interested in the SMP (Simultaneous Membership Program) which allowed him to enlist in the Pennsylvania National Guard as well as ROTC. It was in the National Guard that Thompson was introduced to the intelligence community. After scoring a 92 on the ASVAB he was slotted for the 35F All Source Intelligence Analyst MOS. After completing Basic Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Thompson returned with new career goals in mind. Having been awarded a 4.0 from Cochise College for 30 credits towards an Associate in Intelligence Operations Thompson was able to apply to Point Park University for their Intelligence and National Security Degree (B.S.) where he currently receives the Presidential Academic Scholarship as well as other military benefits to pay for school. Upon graduating from Point Park University Thompson will receive an Associates of Science in Intelligence Operations and a Bachelors of Science in Intelligence and National Security. He hopes to stay in the intelligence community either through the military or civilian routes.
